6-Day tour from Agadir to Marrakech and Desert

Day 1: Agadir – Marrakesh

Private tour from Agadir start today and we rive you to Marrakech where we will explore some main parts of the city. We will have guided tour of Marrakesh. You will explore main attractions and monuments of the city including famous Jamma el Fna square, Kotubia mosque, souks, palaces, museums. We explore also new part of the city called Gueliz, gardens Menara and Marjolle. We stay in Marrakesh in local hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 2: Marrakech – Tizi n Tichka pass – Ouarzazatte – Dades Gorge

Private tour from Marrakesh starts today and we enjoy beautiful view from Atlas Mountains. We will pass through Tizi-n-Tichka, highest road pass in Morocco to reach Unesco world heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. It is famous place for movie makers. Then we continue to Ouarzazatte to visit movie studio and kasbah in city. We continue our New Year desert tour from Marrakesh towards valley of Roses, famous for its annual ‘Festival of roses’. We will drive to Dades Gorge where we spend this night in a hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 3: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga desert

Here, we’ll continue our tour by 4×4 and visit Todra Gorge, a colorful narrow canyon famous to outdoor lovers. We’ll continue thorugh The Ziz Valley to reach Erfoud, an oasis town known as the gate to the Sahara desert and recognized for its unique fossils. There we can visit a local factory which produces artisans and house decor made from fossils, there is also a local shop where you may purchase such items as souvenirs.

Then, we’ll drive towards Rissani, where we’ll visit the local souk and then drive in direction of the desert to reach Merzouga. Arriving at a checkpoint we leave the vehicle and begin our camel ride into the desert dunes, accompanied by experienced guides, arriving at the Merzouga Desert Camp where we’ll stay overnight in Berbere tents. This spectacular night will be rendered unforgettable  with a unique and traditional starlit Berbere dinner topped off by tribal music around a desert campfire.

Day 4 : Merzouga desert – Rissani – Midelt – Fes

After fetching an early start to catch the sunrise, we’ll ride on camelback to the hotel where you’ll get a chance to freshen up. After breakfast at the hotel we’ll drive past Rissani and Erfoud stopping in Midelt, the Atlas Mountains, for lunch. We’ll then continue on to Fes, where we’ll spend the night.

Day 5 : Fes – Rabat – Casablanca

After breakfast at your hotel we’ll take the highway to Casablanca where you can have lunch upon arrival (optional). We’ll pay an afternoon visit to the Central Market, Habous district, Royal Palace, Mohamed V Square, the residential area of Anfa and Mosque Hassan II (external visit only). We’ll spend the night in Casablanca.

Day 6 : Casablanca – Marrakesh

After breakfast we’ll drive to Marrakesh where you’ll have the option of ending our tour, or taking the day to explore before returning to Agadir.
